Privacy Policy — HaptiCue
Last updated: October 18, 2026
Enes Kayıklık ("we", "us", or "our") operates the HaptiCue watch application (the "App") for Wear OS and watchOS. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.
Information We Process
HaptiCue works on your watch. When you use it, the App stores the following on the device only:
- Timers you create or save, including names, durations, rounds, haptic cues, and favorite status
- Recent timers so you can start them again
- Session history, such as the timer name, duration, start time, rounds completed, and whether the session finished
- The active session, so a running or paused timer can continue, including after the watch restarts
- Settings you choose, such as alert mode (haptic, sound, or both), haptic intensity, and quiet hours
We do not require an account. We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, location, photos, advertising identifier, or health data. We do not operate a server that receives your timers.
If you email us for support, we receive whatever you include in that message and use it only to reply.
Local Storage
Presets, recents, history, the active session, and settings are stored in a local SQLDelight database on the watch. This data is not uploaded to us.
Uninstalling the App deletes this local data. You can also delete individual saved timers in the App.
Device Permissions
The App requests permissions so a timer can alert you on time. These permissions are not used to read personal content:
| Permission | Why it is used |
|---|---|
| Vibration | Play the haptic cue you selected |
| Notifications | Show a running timer and cue alerts, including when the screen is off |
| Exact alarms | Fire checkpoints at the time you set |
| Foreground session | Keep an active timer running while you use the watch |
| Start after reboot | Restore a timer that was still running when the watch restarted |
On watchOS, a background session and a local notification are used for the same purpose: cues can fire while the screen is off. HaptiCue does not read HealthKit, motion, or heart-rate data. Workout, focus, and presentation modes are interval timers only.
What We Do Not Use
The App does not include analytics, crash-reporting, advertising, or in-app purchase services. It does not send timer data, settings, or device identifiers to third parties for tracking.
Device Backup
If you enable backup for your watch or Google account (Android backup) or Apple Account (iCloud backup), the operating system may include the App's local database in your backup. That backup is controlled by Google or Apple under their own policies. We do not receive or read it.
Data Retention
Local data remains on the watch until you delete it in the App or uninstall the App. We do not keep a copy.
Support emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.
Children's Privacy
HaptiCue is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your Rights
Because timer data stays on your watch, you can delete saved timers in the App or uninstall the App to remove it. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information you send us by email.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.
